Walking Progress

   She's a full blown walkin' n babblin'  little toddler now! I've got some great videos of her walking all over my parent's front driveway area from the other day. As well as a few adorable photos of the princess.

Homemade

  So the other day I spent what seemed like forever making baby food for Ashlyn. I enjoy the satisfaction of knowing exactly what is going into my little girl's tummy, but sometimes the amount of time it takes, the dishes, and the effort doesn't always seem worth it. Which is why when I do set out to create wonderfully colorful masterpieces of yummy goodness for baby, I make in bulk and I freeze!

Free Jumping

    Well, my sister and I got some pictures of Donny free jumping. I'm really glad to see these! It gives me hope that he will have talent for something. I'm thinking eventing..... but first we will have to conquer his fear of water.

Goat Adventure!

    Yesterday was quite the adventure for baby Ashlyn!  She was very tired by the end of the day, but a happy little camper none the less and we got a lot done.

Crafts & Sweets

    These last few days have been a little bit of an emotional struggle for me. A sense of melancholy and emptiness. I've never before felt so loved by those around me as I have these last two days though. Little reminders that I'm not alone, that the people I've chosen to pour my love into still love me back.

Realizations

   Today I'm expressing myself with pictures, pictures from the past and present... today is a day of remembrance and gratefulness. My heart is overwhelmed by how much I have to be grateful for.

How Things Change

  Some of you know that my little family will be moving sometime in the near future. To a new place to call home. It seems like it was really just yesterday we moved into this apartment here in Austin. Well, it'll be time to pack everything back up and hire movers again before we know it!
