Florida 2015 - Part II

     I've pretty much filled my phone and my Instagram feed with pictures from this trip and today is only day three of eight! But seriously, who could blame me? I have two precious babies, one of them is visiting their great grandparents and great aunt for the first time, and we're on a gorgeous beach. If there was ever a time for lots of photo taking it's now!

Florida 2015 - Part I

"Are we there yet?!"

    Ashlyn has been absolutely loosing her mind with excitement. It probably started a week ago when she began counting down the days until our flight. Every hour or so she would ask me to tell her again how many more days.

A 90th Birthday

  My husband's grandfather just turned 90! He's an amazing man that has such a history and rich life story. For his 90th birthday a very large family/friend reunion and birthday party was planned in Midland, TX. Of course we went!

Crazy Awesome Weekend

  This last weekend was awesome, and exhausting! And ... BABY FREE. Yes, you heard me right. Hubby surprised me with a baby free weekend full of spontaneous adventure. Something that never happens when you have children. And I only have one kid, so for you moms of more than one... my hat goes off you...

Most Amazing Concert/Day Ever!

   For Valentine's day my husband bought me/us tickets to go see Muse in Dallas this past week! And let me tell you, it was worth every penny, every lost minute of sleep, every exhausted moment the next day, all the gas, and everything!

Georgia, Weddings, Horses, and more!

A lot has been going on since I last posted on here! For example, hubby and I just got home from Augusta, Georgia where hubby was a groomsman in a friend's wedding.

Mini Vaca

   It all started with a marriage seminar. Our last minute trip out of the city. It was very much needed, time away from schedules, life, and work. We needed the break. Besides that, we were celebrating our 3rd anniversary!

A Far Away Land .. Cambodia

   On Tuesday the 29th my family and I said goodbye to my brother before he boarded his 7:30 am flight. He wouldn't arrive at his destination until the following day at 10:30pm. We wont see him again for six months or more. He's gone to a far away land called Cambodia.

A First

    Donny will be turning four this summer. July 14th, 2008 RH Donatello was born to the world a small helpless foal. Three years and eight months later Donny is no longer that small little colt, and we are taking our first steps into the big scary world outside of the ranch.

Goat Adventure!

    Yesterday was quite the adventure for baby Ashlyn!  She was very tired by the end of the day, but a happy little camper none the less and we got a lot done.

Home Again - Nebraska Trip

   Traveling with an infant to an unfamiliar destination is a challenge all in itself.  But then you add onto that the facts that I traveled alone through one of the largest, most confusing US airports to stay with relatives that I had never met before.....

We've Moved

       Moving is always an adventure. It’s as happy an event as it is a sad event! Sad to see the home go that you’ve made so many memories in. Happy to take on the adventure of a new place! A new home, a fresh start!

We are in Nebraska!

   Ashlyn and I are both in Nebraska right now. We are here visiting family on my husband's side of the family. Family we have never met before.
